My son.. the post it kid
A simple thing like reminding oneself to defrost a meal, quickly turns into a messy doodle.
Yesterdays note paper
When I'm working in the computer, I always have a piece of scrap paper for random notes and phone messages... but most of the time, they'll be completely filled with small drawings in a matter of minutes. There is something about not doing what you are suppose to be doing.

Zoo drawings
Yesterday, a friend and I spent a few hours in the local zoo drawing. I felt rusty... it's been way too long since I have done drawings from life, but at the same time it felt really good being back at it.

Another monotype
I must have forgotten to post this one with the others, or maybe I did not like it at the time and it has grown on me since. Anyway, it's another monotype done the same day as described in an earlier post.
On scrap paper
Going through my desk drawer, I came across this colorpencil drawing. It was made a late night before christmas. My wife and I were writing the last batch of christmas greetings, and I was a bit frustrated about not getting started early enough to do all home-made cards ( maybe this year ). We were gluing pictures of our son on colored paper, and among the stack of unused pieces, I found this sheet, perfect for a little drawing. (that's true for all surfaces where you can leave a mark)
